I like Air Force Village West, but, I'm not quite ready yet.
Let's be frank. Moving from your home is a difficult decision. Some people wait until after a medical crisis occurs and then decide that it's time to move. One problem with waiting until that crisis occurs is that you may be ineligible for residency at Air Force Village West. Every year a number of people are declined for residency at AFVW, usually because they "waited too long".

One of our Navy officers described the Village as a "giant cruise ship, without all the water." Another important consideration - life-style. We are a young, active, involved community. A place you will really enjoy. If you do wait, you will miss out on all the fun, activities, amenities, and stress-reducing services provided. Simply, if you "aren't ready yet", you miss out on a wonderful opportunity and a great life-style.

Is Air Force Village West Pet Friendly?
The Village does allow most common pets.  Some restrictions do apply.  Ask your representative.
